A Daily Prayer for Peace and Healing: Finding Comfort in God

May your shalom rest upon me in my time of need. Lord, thank you in advance for revealing another side of yourself, Jehovah Shalom, the Prince of Peace.

Peace is a gift you give, and the world cannot take it away (John 14:27).

Lord, my peace is found in you.

Your word says in Isaiah 26:3 that you will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

Lord, I will not worry. Instead, I will surrender and cast my cares upon you, O God. Thank you for all you’ve done. May the peace of the Lord guard my heart and mind. Let the peace that comes from you rule in my heart.

I pray your perfect peace will comfort me at all times and in every situation. God, give me strength and bless me with peace.

You are my Counselor, O Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and my Prince of Peace.

Peace is the fruit of your Spirit in me. God of all peace, thank you for the work you’re doing in my life. Your close watch is sometimes comforting, and sometimes frustrating.

Yet in your presence, you give me peace instead of anxiety. Lord, thank you for your promises of peace and prosperity. I long to live with you and for you, though there are still many things I fear.

Numbers 6:24-26 (make it personal):
May the Lord bless me and protect me. May the Lord smile on me and be gracious to me. May the Lord show me His favor and give me His peace.
