Prayer for Honesty and Integrity: Seeking God’s Truth in All Things
Lord, I pray for honesty in our lives. Please help us to speak and act truthfully in all situations.
Lord, purify and create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me. Enrich my mouth to speak your truth. Lord, your word says that you detest lying lips, but you delight in those who tell the truth. Lord, help me to be honest and a person of integrity. Touch my lips with your coal, removing my guilt and sins forever.
Even when it seems easier to be dishonest or fabricate the truth. Lord, may I be a person of integrity to speak in truth. May my crooked paths be made straight. For I have stripped off my old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds, and have put on a new nature, and have been renewed as I learn to know you, my Creator, and become like you.
