Prayer for Trust: Letting Go and Relying on God’s Plan

Are you lacking in confidence in trusting God to lead, guide, and provide for you? Here’s a prayer to strengthen and encourage you to trust the God of suddenlys.

Firstly, Lord, you are the author and finisher of my faith. I trust that you will fight for me because you’re my refuge and my place of safety.  I do not fear bad news. For I confidently trust in you, ol Lord, to care for me and that of my family. Lord, your word says in Proverbs 2:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

Lord of Lords, King of Kings, you are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. God, I thank you for remaining the same always and forever more. God, I trust you to lead me and guide me in every area of my life and the lives of my family members.

Lord, as I seek your will with all my heart, I trust and know that you will light my path. Lord, your word says in Jeremiah 17 that blessed are those who put their trust, their hope, and confidence in the Lord. For this reason, I am a blessed and a blessing to others, so Lord, I put my trust in you and not man. Lord, I trust you even in the storms of life, for my foundation is rooted in you.

God, you said that you will never fail or abandon me. Additionally, if I pray about anything and believe that I’ve received it, I will have it. The Lord continuously provides for the birds, and I know that we are far more valuable, so I will not worry. I will trust you. While I wait, Lord, for all that you’re doing in my life and the lives of my family members, I will continue to give you, Lord, all the praise, honor, and glory in Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen
